Each year SVGA hosts seven gallery walks (exhibition openings for all SVGA galleries), which are eagerly anticipated and free to the public. 2/26 - Family of Woman Film Festival
The Family of Woman Film Festival was founded in Sun Valley, Idaho, in 2008, by Friends of UNFPA (the United Nations Population Fund), Board Member, Peggy Elliott Goldwyn, to bring attention to the work of UNFPA, which works in more than 150 countries to assure women and girls have access to reproductive health care, education, and basic human rights. 2/27 - Wood River Writing Workshops with Sarah Sentilles
Participants will engage in writing exercises, discuss craft, and share new work. We’ll also clear out whatever stops us from putting writing at the center of our lives. The focus of the workshop is creating new writing rather than critiquing manuscripts, so all writers in all genres are welcome – from published writer to grocery list writer, from novice to advanced, from novelist to memoirist, and everything in between.
